Craniosacral
Therapy
Craniosacral
Therapy was pioneered and developed by osteopathic
physician John E. Upledger, D.O., O.M.M, following
extensive scientific studies from 1975 to
1983 at Michigan State University. Craniosacral
Therapy is a gentle method of detection and
correction that enhances and balances the
body’s nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
The therapist uses light touch techniques
to release restrictions in connective tissues
and relieve undue pressure on the brain and
spinal cord. This technique facilitates the
body’s self-corrective mechanism, reduces
stress, and promotes general health and vitality.

Visceral Manipulation
Visceral
Manipulation was designed by French osteopath,
Jean –Pierre Barral, D.O. and is taught
worldwide. At times, overuse of muscle groups,
repetition of movement, injuries, strains or accidents
can cause an internal pulling of organs and their
attachments that create pain or discomfort in
muscles, connective tissue or the skeletal structure.
Using visceral ( organ system) techniques, our
therapists use light but specifically placed pressure
to enhance the mobility and the tissue movement
of the organs, which decreases pain and promotes
the body’s natural healing processes. For
additional information about these techniques
please visit www.Upledger.com.
Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT)
Lymphatic
Drainage Therapy was developed by Bruno Chikly,
M.D., D.O. (hon.). LDT involves gentle manual
techniques that aid in the proper flow of lymph
and allow for more effective waste and toxin removal.
LDT can assist in fluid activation which stimulates
the immune system thereby assisting the body in
healing itself. For information please visit www.Upledger.com.
