What Is ARP Wave Therapy?
Essentially, ARP Wave Therapy is a device that was designed by exercise physiologist Denis Thompson. He was searching for a method to treat the causative factors behind pain related injuries in athletes.
The ARP wave device works by stimulating both the peripheral and central nervous systems. The waveform used in the ARP device penetrates deep into the tissues being treated.
The treatment is focused on the muscles – working to optimize them so that they can do their work to support the surrounding area where the injury is. It works to accelerate the recovery process from the injury (or surgery).
The ARP Wave electronic muscle stimulation unit, which is used to implement the ARP Wave systems, is FDA authorized for the following uses:
* Muscle Re-education
* Relaxation of muscle spasms
* Increase of local blood circulation
* Prevention and retardation of disuse atrophy
* Maintenance and increase of range of motion
